The small village of Wellenstein on the River Moselle nestles amongst vineyards and boasts the largest wine cellars of the cooperative vinsmoselle. The wine cellars offer one hour guided tours and tastings. Wellenstein has an attractive shady square surrounded by old restored buldings. From the village, a pleasant short walk through the vineyards leads to Bech-Kleinmacher where you can visit the Wine and Folklore Museum A Possen. To the south of Wellenstein, panoramic views can be enjoyed from the Scheuerberg.
