This annual month long event in the north of Luxembourg is one of the most important cultural events in the Grand Duchy. Since 1953, it has taken place in the month of July in an outdoor ampitheatre in Wiltz Castle grounds. A removable roof ensures covered seating in the case of bad weather. There is a broad international programme of theatrical performances and concerts ranging from plays, philharmonic orchestra, jazz, soloists, ballet and folk dance.
