This annual festival celebrating spring and the flowering of the broom in the Ardennes takes place on the weekend of the Pentecost. The festival was founded in the late 1940s and is now a popular event. On the Saturday, the Broom Queen is crowned, and there is music and folk dancing on Whit Monday. The main attraction is the splendid parade through the streets of Wiltz of both Luxembourg and international bands, folk groups and floats decorated with broom. There is also a street market.
