The hill known as Tetelbierg was once a fortified Celtic town and it was surrounded by a wall almost two miles long. There was a large settlement in Roman times and it was occupied over several centuries. Many thousands of Roman coins have been found dating from the 1st to the 5th Centuries. The site can be visited and there are information boards explaining what can be seen. There are also fine views over the Chiers Valley and Rodange.
