Dudelange is known for the vivid, artistic wall murals in St Martin`s Church. They were painted in the 1920s and are the work of Notker Becker from the Maria Laacher Monastery. Also of interest are the paintings of the Way of the Cross, created by Dominque Lang, a major impressionist who was born in Dudelange in the year 1874. Built in the 1890s, in the neo-Gothic style, St Martin`s is a large church, accommodating over 2000 people. It was renovated in 1990.
