The little town of Remich is one of the most popular resorts on the River Moselle. Known as the Pearl of the Moselle, this is an important wine centre. It is the headquarters of the Institut viti-vinicole de Etat. A visit can be made to St Martin`s wine cellars where you can learn about the methods of producing sparkling wine. There is also a tasting pavilion. Afterwards, you could take a stroll along the two mile promenade beside the River Sure.
