The Chapel of Saint Pirim can be reached by a footpath through the forest from Kaundorf. It is said that Saint Pirim visited the place in the early 8th Century and blessed the nearby spring after its waters cured his eye disease. The original 12th Century chapel was destroyed by fire in the early 18th Century but was rebuilt. Every year, on Whit Monday, a procession from Kaundorf winds its way through the forest to the healing spring and chapel.
