The archaeological site Raschpetzer is an underground aqueduct constructed in the Roman era. Dug out of the rock in the 2nd Century AD, it provided drinking water to a group of Roman villas near Helmsange. The main tunnel is approximately 600 metres long and has a network of secondary passages built to channel water from 35 wells. The tunnels vary in height from less than half a metre to over two metres. This remarkable Roman site is open to visitors on certain days during the summer months.
