This beautiful park, especially lovely in spring when the magnolias are in bloom, lies in the valley of the River Petrusse between the upper town and the Bourbon Plateau. Near the river is the remains of a sluice built in 1728 as a means of flooding the valley to defend it against invading enemies. There is a mini golf course and a small steam train. Near the Pont Viaduc, which is also called the Passerelle, is St Quiren`s Chapel, built into the rock.
