The Battle of the Bulge is the main exhibition in this museum,and it is depicted by numerous, large dioramas illustrating, in a neutral way, the tragedies and hardships suffered by the Americans, Germans and civilians in the Ardennes in 1944 and 1945. There`s a reconstruction of the crossing of the river in Diekirch on the 18th of January 1945 by soldiers of the US Infantry. A large collection of military equipment, weapons, vehicles and documents are on display. Another part of the museum tells the history of Luxembourg`s armed forces.
