The Music Conservatory houses a concert hall and a museum with an exhibition of old musical instruments. In the building is a music library and archives on the subject of music. The concert hall has seating for over 600 people, and in its rehearsal rooms music, drama and dance are taught. The Music Conservatory of the city of Luxembourg opened in 1968. It is located away from the city centre, in the district of Meerl.
