The small museum is housed in a Rococo pavilion built in the mid 18th Century by the abbey`s master builder. It has a pentagon shape and a fine staircase to an upper floor where you can watch a short audio-visual film about rural architecture and how it was influenced by the abbey in the 18th Century. In the park are information boards about the history of Echternach and the abbey`s gardens. This museum can be visited during the town`s cultural walk.
