This museum houses a collection of prehistoric stone artefacts from all over the world, including northern Europe, Africa, North America and New Guinea. The stone tools are displayed in over thirty showcases representing the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic periods. Through the collections, reconstructions, timetables and a video presentation, the museum gives visitors an insight into how tools were made by people in the distant past. The museum is located below the parish church of St Peter and St Paul.
