This local museum contains a collection of archaeological objects from the medieval fortress on Mont St Jean, the Gehaansbierg. They were found in the proximity of the site at the time of the castle`s restoration. The museum also houses a permanent collection of fossils and items related to the geology of the area. There is a section devoted to the town`s industrial history. The Gallery `Nei Licht` photographic exhibition is in the same building as the museum.
