This delightful region known as Petite Suisse, Little Switzerland and the Mullerthal is an area of forests, valleys, streams and rock. Nature has carved out the sandstone into gorges, caves and weird, but impressive, shapes. The best way to explore it is by walking and there are many footpaths, long and short, starting from places such as Echternach, Consdorf, Larochette, Beaufort, Berdorf and the hamlet of Mullerthal.
