This festival of classical music has taken place every year in the town of Echternach since it was established in 1975 by its director the famous pianist Cyprien Katsaris. The festival is held in May and June and it is one of the most important musical events in Luxembourg. Both world famous musicians and young performers are featured in the concerts held in the Basilica and Saints Peter and Paul Church.
