The Cross of Justice stands near the entrance to Wiltz Castle. It was erected in 1502 by Gerald V of Wiltz and his wife Elizabeth de Bourscheid. It is a symbol of the right to hold a market and the rights of justice. Near the cross is a statue of the Blessed Virgin. Another statue nearby is of St Nepomucene by local sculptor Nicolas Jacques. It was created in the mid 18th Century after a terrible fire that occurred in 1748.
