The castle in Clervaux dominates this picturesque little town situated in the heart of the Ardennes. Dating from the 12th Century, the fortress has been enlarged with additional towers built by the Brandenbourgs. During the Battle of the Bulge, it was severely damaged but has been rebuilt. The feudal castle now houses the tourist information centre and three permanent exhibitions, including The Family of Man and a war museum. Over twenty scale models are on display in the exhibition devoted to Models of Ancient Luxembourg Castles.
