Wormeldange is a vine growing centre known for the exceptional quality of its wines. The village is considered to be the capital of the Riesling, and every year a festival is held called the Riesling Open. The wine cellars can be visited and there is a tasting pavilion. Wormeldange lies below a famous vineyard known as the Koeppchen, which offers superb views. On the hill is the St Donat Chapel built in the 1920s. Wormeldange is an embarkation point for the Princesse Marie-Astrid. A bridge from the village crosses the River Moselle to Germany.
