Fierce fighting took place in the Valley of the Our during the Battle of the Bulge in the years of 1944 and 1945. This easy, historical walk has a number of stops with narrative panels explaining events that took place. Dugouts, foxholes only large enough for one or two men, shell fragments in trees, marks left by tanks and gun emplacements are pointed out. The six mile walk takes about three hours and can be extended another five miles by crossing the border into Germany. A leaflet is available.
