The State and Savings Bank (BCEE) has its own art gallery, and its contemporary art collection is located underground in tunnels originally built to link four of the BCEE`s buildings on the Bourbon Plateau. The tunnels are 50 feet below ground and the transformation into an art gallery was made in the 1990s. There are a number of permanent exhibitions, and the collection includes photographs by Edward Steichen, paintings, sculptures and tapestries.
