The little village of Ansembourg boasts two castles. Standing high above the Eisch Valley are the ruined towers of a medieval stronghold, whilst close to the village stands a 17th Century manor house. The latter`s French style garden is open to visitors. Backed by the square towers of the castle, the 18th Century garden is laid out in terraces and contains a variety of plants, pools and fountains. The garden`s most interesting feature is an old mythological avenue of restored statues.
